On Monday morning, Hakuho students on the Philippines Exchange Tour were greeted by the Principal of the High School at Miriam College, Ms. Sofia Soledad D. De Guzman. They were then taken to the JICC (Japan Information and Cultural Center) at the Japanese Embassy in Manila to learn about Japan-Philippine relations and also about the duties of the embassy staff. After enjoying traditional Filipino dishes at a restaurant in Intramuros World Heritage Site, students enjoyed view traditional Filipino arts and crafts at Silahis Arts and Culture Center. The day ended will a shopping tour at the massive MOA (Mall of Asia). Tomorrow, Hakuho Global Course students will meet their new classmates in Miriam College for a day of study.
