From May 8th, our school has welcomed four students from Regent’s International School Bangkok as part of our sister school exchange program. The students have been attending classes with our students, and enjoyed sightseeing around Kanagawa and Tokyo in their free time.

While their visit will soon come to an end, today they took part in a Japanese cooking class in which they made Japanese traditional sweets – anmitsu and dango. Our students were excited to communicate with them in English, while the Regent’s students did an excellent job following the instructions to make these sweet treats.

We have greatly enjoyed hosting these students, and look forward to their hospitality when our students visit Regent’s in September.

5月8日より、本校では交換留学プログラムの一環として、Regent’s International School Bangkokから4名の生徒を迎えています。
生徒たちは本校の生徒と一緒に授業を受けるほか、自由時間には神奈川や東京での観光も楽しみました。

滞在もまもなく終わりを迎えますが、本日は日本料理教室に参加し、日本の伝統的な甘味であるあんみつと団子作りに挑戦しました。白鵬の生徒たちは英語でのコミュニケーションを楽しみながら交流し、Regent’sの生徒たちも説明をしっかり聞きながら、とても上手に甘味を作っていました。

私たちはこの交流を大変嬉しく思っており、9月に白鵬の生徒たちがRegent’sを訪問する際にも、素晴らしい交流の時間を過ごせることを楽しみにしています。
