Two students from our English Club (ECC) represented Hakuho Girls’ High School and participated in the “World Cafe” event held at Shinagawa Etoile Girls’ High School.

On the day, they engaged in discussions on the theme of “AI in Education” alongside high school students from seven other schools, including international schools. The students actively exchanged opinions while leveraging their advanced English skills, and confidently shared their own perspectives.

Through interaction with students from different cultures and backgrounds, they were exposed to diverse viewpoints and gained new learning and insights, while also deepening friendships across school boundaries — a truly valuable opportunity.

This experience not only enhanced the students’ communication abilities in English, but also proved to be a highly meaningful opportunity to broaden their international perspectives. Going forward, through such exchanges, we will cultivate students who learn proactively and develop the ability to communicate their ideas to the world.
