Thriving Abroad — Messages from Our Students Studying Overseas
Sora Kanai, 3rd-year, Global Advanced Course
I am studying abroad in Colorado, USA. Through this exchange, my English has improved to the point that I can hold the conversations I want to have with friends, my host family, and my teachers — sharing jokes and laughing together. As I take on something new every day, I have gained confidence, and I feel more and more that I want to throw myself into many more things. Studying abroad in the United States has been a dream of mine since I was little, so I am happy to be living each day so fully.

Thriving Abroad! MESSAGES from Our Study-Abroad Students

Global Advanced Course
I am studying abroad in Colorado, USA. Through my time here, my English has improved to the point where I can converse freely—and even share jokes and laughter—with friends, my host family, and my teachers. Taking on new challenges each day has given me confidence and made me eager to push myself even further. Studying in the U.S. has been my dream since childhood, so I feel truly happy to spend such fulfilling days.

Global Advanced Course
I am studying abroad in the Grand Est region of France. At first I could not speak any French and was very anxious, but by asking on the spot about words I did not know and gradually learning through conversation, I came to understand more and more, which built my motivation and confidence. Now I truly feel that I am experiencing so many different cultures firsthand—and I am so glad I chose to study in France.
