On the first day of school at Pine Hills International School, Hakuho students were warmly welcomed by all the teachers and students in the morning assembling.
Hakuho students had many interesting classes on their first day. Such as E-commerce, where they learnt the fundamentals about being an entrepreneur and how to be a successful business owner. Hakuho students collaborated with Pine Hills students to create a new product and present it to the class. This challenged their creativity, teamwork and presentation skills.
For music class, they learnt about traditional Malaysian instruments, which expanded their knowledge on musical instruments and understanding of Malaysian culture.
For the Malay language class, Hakuho students learned the vocabulary for days of the week. Pine Hills students taught Hakuho students the proper pronunciation of the vocabulary. At the end of the class, the subject teacher tested Hakuho students on what they learnt and everyone scored a perfect mark.
Lastly, for the special sports activity, Hakuho students played “pickleball”. A popular sport in Malaysia. Which has elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The students put all their energy into playing the sport and really enjoyed it.
At the end of the day, the students had an intensive English class to focus on improving their English speaking abilities. They’ll be preparing a speech to present to the class.
