We have reached the third day of our language training program at De La Salle University in the Manila metropolitan area of the Philippines. Students are gradually becoming accustomed to the new environment and are approaching their daily life and studies with a positive attitude.

From this day forward, full-fledged classes have officially begun. The faculty at De La Salle University has welcomed our students warmly and kindly, allowing them to focus on their English studies with peace of mind. Through the experience of learning in English within an environment different from Japan, students are gradually building their confidence.

In the afternoon, two students from the Global Advanced Course delivered English speeches in front of the executives of the host school. For the students, speaking their thoughts and feelings in English before such a large audience proved to be an invaluable experience. They were able to demonstrate the results of their regular studies while also gaining an opportunity to realize the importance of communicating through English.

The training program has only just begun. Through upcoming classes and exchanges with local people, we hope that students will not only improve their English proficiency but also deepen their understanding of different cultures and develop the ability to take independent and proactive action.
