The Hakuho Girls’ High School Dance Club participated in the “WORLD OF DANCE Championship Round” held in Anaheim, America on July 8th. Our school advanced through the Tokyo preliminaries and is competing in the world championships as one of Japan’s representative teams.

Standing before top teams from around the world, our students showcased the results of their accumulated practice and performed confidently before many spectators. After the performance, we received warm encouragement from many people beyond national and language boundaries, making it a day where we truly felt the joy of dancing on a world stage and the wonderful connection that dance creates between people.

As a result, our dance club won first place in the Junior Division and achieved the title of world champion.

Tomorrow, the “WORLD OF DANCE World Finals” will finally begin. The top 10 teams from each division will gather for the final battle to determine the true world champion. Without being satisfied with today’s result, we will unite as a team and pursue the world championship title until the very end.
