On Tuesday, February 25, we invited Ms. Yukari Ohno, a professor at the International Food Vocational College, to give a special lesson on “banana omelette” for second-year students of the Food Coordination Course.
Because they made the batter from scratch this time, the students whipped it up with all their might using a whisk, rather than the hand mixer they would normally use.

They took on a chocolate batter and, with advice such as not over-mixing once the dry ingredients are added and pouring the batter into the molds and baking it before the chocolate settles, they were able to complete their “banana omelettes.”

We hope they will make use of this experience in their future practicums and career choices.
