Grade 2 Australia School Trip ⑤

On Tuesday, November 3rd, the fifth day of the school trip, students participated in small-group independent study tours that they had been looking forward to.
Students had planned their itineraries in consultation with their group members in preparation for this day. Today they used public transportation on their own to enjoy sightseeing and walking around Sydney. While there were moments when they struggled with navigation in an unfamiliar place and communicating in English, they overcame each challenge by checking maps and consulting with their group members. The day became filled with smiles as they savored the sense of accomplishment when reaching their destinations and the joy of spending time together with their companions.
The experience of thinking for themselves, making judgments, and taking action will surely have built great confidence for these students.
In the evening, everyone gathered at the hotel and headed to Sydney Airport.
The wonderful time in Australia is finally coming to an end. With many precious memories in their hearts, on the evening of Tuesday, November 3rd, the students departed Sydney and began their journey home to Japan.
