On November 3rd (Tuesday), second-year students from the Dance Art Expression Course departed for a school trip to the United Kingdom.

This school trip includes a variety of programs, including training at Royal Holloway University, a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, sightseeing at Piccadilly Circus and around London, and more. By directly experiencing the local culture, arts, and history, this will be a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of different values and ways of life.

The students who gathered at Haneda Airport showed some nervousness before departure, but were filled with anticipation for the life ahead in the UK, new encounters, and the various experiences to come. After the departure ceremony, the students set off energetically on their 4-night, 6-day school trip with smiles on their faces.

We look forward to the students experiencing the streetscapes and culture of the UK, including London, and deepening their exchange with local people, gaining much learning and discovery that cannot be obtained in regular school life. We hope that this experience will broaden each student’s perspective and lead to fruitful results in their future studies and creative activities.

We will continue to introduce the students’ activities at the destination on our homepage as they unfold. Please be sure to check it out.
