On Friday, December 20, the second-term closing ceremony for the 2024 academic year was held in Hakuho Arena.

In the principal’s address, he looked back on the second term and praised the students’ achievements. He also spoke about keeping an awareness that we live together as a community.

A school-wide assembly followed. Awards were presented to the Tennis Club, Track and Field Club, Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Artistic Gymnastics Club, the competitive swimming division and the water polo division of the Swimming Club, the Figure Skating Club, Judo Club, Dance Club, Drama Club and Calligraphy Club, along with the Good Conduct Award. Because the Track and Field Club and the Tennis Club were competing at tournaments that day, their awards were reported over the public address system.

Having come through the qualifying rounds in their respective events, the Track and Field Club, Tennis Club, Figure Skating Club and the water polo division of the Swimming Club have secured places at the national championships.
A send-off rally was then held for the Figure Skating Club and the water polo club ahead of the national championships.
The students spoke about their determination going into the competitions.

The head of the student guidance department spoke about how to spend the winter break, asking students to conduct themselves with an awareness of being Hakuho Girls’ students and to approach everything with strong resolve.

After the closing ceremony, each class held homeroom.
Winter break begins tomorrow.
How the break is spent differs by year and by course, but we hope everyone will have a meaningful winter vacation.
