On the first and second days of the UK school trip (October 31 and November 1), students in the Advanced Course experienced homestays with local families.

During their stay, they experienced daily life in British households by sharing meals with their host families and enjoying conversations together. They were exposed to living habits and cultures different from Japan’s, spending time filled with surprises and new discoveries.

There were moments when they may have felt confused by the unfamiliar environment and language differences, but their proactive efforts to communicate and their willingness to understand their hosts’ cultures and values became a major opportunity for growth for the students.

Then came the time to part with their host families. The students returned to their classmates with gratitude and many cherished memories in their hearts. Although the stay was only two days, the experience of living as a member of a local household will surely become an unforgettable and precious memory for the students.

We hope that the students will treasure the encounters and learning gained from this homestay experience, deepen their understanding of different cultures, and apply these lessons to their future school life and beyond.
