Tuesday, September 8, Hakuho Girls’ High School proudly welcomed six students from the Canadian School of Tashkent in Uzbekistan, marking the beginning of our new and exciting partnership with the school.

Over the past two weeks, our Global Course students have welcomed the students into their classrooms, giving them a taste of Japanese high school life. Our students also learned about Uzbek culture and deepened their communication with people from different cultures.

Our guests also enjoyed outings to Kamakura and Tokyo Disney Sea with our teachers, experiencing Japanese culture from traditional to modern attractions.

Through this exchange, our students realized the joy of cross-cultural communication beyond national and cultural differences, and were able to build new international connections.

Hakuho Girls’ High School hopes to use this exchange as an opportunity to build a long-lasting international partnership with the Canadian School of Tashkent.
