On January 18, we competed in the boulder event of the sport climbing competition at the prefectural newcomers tournament, held at Hadano Tanzawa Climbing Park.

2nd-year Kokoa Ando, 2nd-year Yuna Ichikawa and 1st-year Runa Sumura finished as runners-up in the girls’ team boulder event.
In addition, 2nd-year Kokoa Ando finished as runner-up in the girls’ individual boulder event.

As a result of these placings, 2nd-year Kokoa Ando earned a seeded place at next year’s prefectural athletic meet.

They gave full expression to the results of their daily hard work.
