On this day, Hakuho students had a final sightseeing tour of two iconic places.
First was the Batu Caves, one of the most important Hindu religious sites in Malaysia. The towering golden statue of Lord Murugan welcomed us at the entrance, and students enthusiastically climbed the 272 colorful steps leading to the main cave temple. Beyond the physical challenge, the visit offered valuable insights into Hindu culture and Malaysia’s Indian community. The students were fascinated by the limestone formations and the peaceful atmosphere inside the cave.
Next, students visited Thean Hou Temple, A Chinese temple dedicated to the Goddess Mazu. Students were impressed by the temple’s vibrant red pillars, intricate carvings, and beautiful lanterns. By visiting the temple students understood the importance of the Chinese community in Malaysia.
This cultural sightseeing tour allowed Hakuho students to experience Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage firsthand.
