On Thursday, November 4th, the Dance Art Expression Course (Class 5) experienced the second day of their educational trip to London.

On this day, they visited Royal Holloway University, where education and research in a wide range of fields including music, media, film, and performing arts are conducted.

After receiving an explanation about the university’s overview, the students heard about university life from a school alumnus. They then participated in a campus tour and deepened their understanding of the university’s facilities and learning environment.

Next, the students participated in a workshop led by a local dance instructor. Over approximately two hours, under the instructor’s guidance, the students enthusiastically learned choreography, and at the end, they all performed dance together in the beautiful courtyard that symbolizes the university. In an environment different from their usual one, they spent a fulfilling time experiencing the joy of dancing alongside their classmates.

At a beautiful campus that looks like a castle, the students were able to experience university learning while also receiving direct instruction from a local instructor—a truly valuable experience. For the students, it was a memorable day filled with new discoveries and learning.
