On November 4th (Wednesday), students from the 2nd year Advanced and Standard Courses visited famous landmarks throughout London.
The first stop was the British Museum, known as one of the world’s premier museums. The halls are filled with numerous valuable exhibits conveying the history and culture of regions around the world, and the students were absorbed in viewing the diverse cultures and histories that they rarely encounter in their regular classes.
Next, they visited Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, iconic tourist attractions representing London. Standing before these historic structures that they had previously seen only in photographs and videos, the students were moved by their grandeur and beautiful architecture.
Furthermore, they also visited Buckingham Palace, a symbol of the British Royal Family. Experiencing the solemn and dignified atmosphere that evokes history and tradition, the students were able to fully savor the unique atmosphere of London.

During this school trip, through homestays, students experienced local family life and culture, and through university visits and sightseeing in the city, they were able to broadly learn about British history, education, and culture. Additionally, it became an opportunity for them to feel the importance of actively communicating in an unfamiliar environment and of working together with their peers.
This experience of directly encountering cultures and values different from those in Japan led to new discoveries for each student and provided a valuable opportunity to broaden their horizons.
The school trip to England, which brought many memories and learning experiences, concluded in this way. We look forward to students applying the insights and lessons gained through this experience to their future school life and individual futures.
