On the morning of the second day of the language study tour, we participated in a campus tour led by local students. Under their guidance, we toured the well-equipped facilities and learning environments within the campus, and were able to experience firsthand the educational environment unique to a local university.

In the afternoon, we engaged in language training. Working in pairs, we took on the challenge of “introducing others” by presenting information about our partners in English. While there were moments of confusion during the all-English class, our students actively communicated in English and worked hard on their presentations.

On the third day, we divided into two groups and participated in different programs.

One group participated in a chemistry class and a workshop themed around peace of mind. While learning specialized content, it became a valuable opportunity to deepen our learning from a perspective different from regular classes.

The other group experienced “Dreamscape Learn.” In an immersive learning environment utilizing VR (virtual reality) technology, students engaged in experiential learning that differs from traditional classroom instruction. Through enjoying learning in the virtual space and gaining hands-on experience, students deepened their understanding.

Though the training has just begun and activities in an unfamiliar environment continue, our students are actively taking on the challenge of communication in English. Through various learning experiences and encounters at the local site, each student is accumulating new discoveries and steadily growing.

We look forward to students absorbing much more and the training becoming fruitful.
