The Memorial Festival has concluded!

2026.10.15

The 90th Memorial Festival (Cultural Festival) was held at our school over two days on October 3rd (Saturday) and October 4th (Sunday).

This year’s Memorial Festival theme is “Flipping the Page: Opening a New Chapter.”
While cherishing what has been passed down through 90 years of long history, we want to turn the page and take a new step forward. This sentiment is reflected in the students’ vision.

Over the two days, more than 3,000 visitors came to our school.
Thank you to everyone who attended.

On the second day, starting at 10:30 a.m., we welcomed guests from Kitani Suisan as a special event and held a tuna butchering show.
The tuna weighed an impressive 126 kilograms!
With each cut, the crowd let out loud cheers.
A rock-paper-scissors lottery where cheek meat and fish eyes were given as prizes was also hugely popular.
After the show, tuna bowls were sold at the cafeteria.
Being fresh, many people enjoyed the tuna bowls.

Classroom displays, food sales in the courtyard, and stages featuring Club Activities and volunteer student groups were held throughout the school building.

After the Memorial Festival, a projection mapping was held by Takarazuka University, with which our school has a partnership agreement, featuring students from the Media Art Course and Dance Art Expression Course.
At the signal from a second-year student from the Media Art Course who served as master of ceremonies, the projection mapping began.
This projection mapping was produced by third- and second-year students from the Media Art Course and second- and first-year students from the Dance Art Expression Course, handling both video and sound.
The animations that moved in sync with the music were truly remarkable, and we were amazed by the high quality.

Cheers rose from the watching students, and it seemed like the perfect way to close the Memorial Festival of “Flipping the Page: Opening a New Chapter.”
