On April 11 (Saturday), we held the 2026 Opening Ceremony at Hakuho Arena.
This year, we welcomed 340 new students, marking a fresh start with a total of 1,117 students across the school.

| Welcoming New Students with Warm Applause
At 9:00 a.m., new students entered the arena where returning students (grades 2 and 3) were waiting. Enveloped in warm applause from their senior classmates, the venue was filled with anticipation and joy for the new school year.

| Principal’s Address: “Mutual Improvement” as We Mark Our 90th Anniversary
The principal spoke about the fact that our school is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, sharing the following remarks:
“Throughout our long history, many alumni have gone on to contribute to society. Currently, the world faces an unstable situation, but it is precisely for this reason that I hope you will examine your own challenges and engage in ‘mutual improvement’ with your classmates. Let us encourage and elevate one another, spending each day with compassionate hearts and smiles.”

| Installation Ceremony and Welcome Meeting
Following the opening ceremony, an installation ceremony was held where newly assigned faculty members offered their greetings. Students welcomed the new teachers with warm applause, delighted by these new connections.
Additionally, a “welcome meeting” was held between first-year and returning students, where senior students presented flowers to the new students as a gesture of welcome.

| All-School Assembly: Water Polo Team Achieves First National Championship!
At the all-school assembly, Club Activities that were active during spring break were recognized and reported on.
Awards: Swimming Club (Water Polo Division), International Education Club, Softball Club

Championship Report: The Swimming Club’s Water Polo Division achieved our school’s first-ever national championship!
At the report meeting, members expressed strong determination, saying: “We were able to achieve the championship, but we want to carefully review the issues and areas for improvement that surfaced during competition, and dedicate ourselves even further toward the next tournament.”

| Student Guidance Department
The Student Guidance Department communicated the importance of the following mindsets for student life: “words and actions rooted in compassion,” “valuing possessions,” “the ability to judge calmly based on facts,” and “developing imagination and associative thinking.”

The new school year is now in full motion.
With the support of all faculty and staff, each student will engage in mutual improvement and elevate one another, making for a fulfilling school life.
