“Casual Day” Held for Grades 11 and 12
2026.05.23
Over the two days of Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23, our school held a “Casual Day” for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students, on which they were permitted to come to school in their own clothes.

The aim of this initiative is to cultivate the students’ capacity for independent judgement and, by having them respect one another’s individuality, to help them acquire the ability to thrive in a society that embraces diversity. It also aims to have them choose clothing suited to the time and the occasion (TPO) and to act accordingly.
This was the first Casual Day of the school year, and the students came to school in outfits of their own choosing, suited to their circumstances and to the weather. In their own clothes they looked a little more grown up than usual, and the campus was filled with a fresh energy.
Our teachers and staff also welcomed the students in casual dress that day.

The next Casual Day is planned for June. Our school will continue to promote educational activities that nurture independence and diversity.
