International Literacy
Cultivate international literacy through understanding self and others.
After graduation: Admission to mid-tier universities or language-focused universities.
In an era when every event in our world is interconnected on a global scale, this course is for students who want to sharpen their English while developing a true international sensibility. Through language training and dedicated classes, students turn fresh eyes back to their own country as well — cultivating an awareness of multicultural coexistence.
The course deepens students’ international literacy and raises their English proficiency, refining a Global Sensibility along the way. Drawing on rich overseas study and language training experiences, students develop mutual understanding across cultures and a consciousness of multicultural coexistence. They also learn aspects of Japanese culture — including the Way of Tea, the Way of Incense (Kōdō), and other traditions — and actively practice English presentations in class, so that they can carry the beauty of their own culture out to the world. After graduation, students aim for mid-tier universities in Japan, particularly in foreign languages and international relations.
